Full descriptionBased on Midway's 1995 arcade game, WWF WrestleMania features a lineup of eight digitized wrestlers and a fighting system patterned after Mortal Kombat. Featured WWF stars include Bam Bam Bigelow, Doink the Clown, Yokozuna, Bret Hart, Lex Luger, Razor Ramon, Shawn Michaels, and the Undertaker. Basic moves include two types of punches, two types of kicks, and a block. To perform such maneuvers as hip tosses, rope throws, and turnbuckle leaps, players must tap multiple buttons or directions. More elaborate techniques, such as over-the-top attacks like the "tombstone slam" and "shocking hand buzzer," are character specific. With each successful strike, a combo meter will gradually fill and unlock the ability to perform "super combos." Compete against a series of computer opponents to win the Intercontinental or WWF titles. Challenge a friend to a head-to-head battle or team up against the computer in multiple two-on-two matches.
