College hoops continue on Xbox 360 with NCAA Basketball 09, which introduces several significant features to help distinguish it from its March Madness predecessors. First and foremost is the new gameplay engine based on the publisher's NBA Live 09. New team-specific tendencies have been added to enhance the realism, and players can dictate the game's tempo by slowing down or speeding up the on-court action as needed. To gauge your performance, you'll hear real-time feedback and tips from actual NCAA coaches on the sidelines.

More than 1,000 new animations have been included, and individual athletes are designed to move more swiftly than in previous games. Full-court presses and traps are now part of your strategic repertoire, and you'll see how your favorite school compares to other Division I teams with ratings and scouting reports from the Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook. Also new is the ESPN Classic Tournament of Legends, which pits 64 all-time great teams against each other to decide which program is the top of the class. Compete against an adjustable computer opponent or challenge others on Xbox Live.
