Nintendo's most popular pink blob returns in this updated remake of the 1996 Super NES game Kirby Super Star. As in the original game, Kirby Super Star Ultra finds the titular hero completing a number of medium-length sub-games by jumping, floating, and devouring bad guys on a hunt for the diabolical King Dedede. There are 14 games in all, and the classic platform action is offset by three new, touch screen-controlled mini-games. Each of the mini-games can be played alone or with friends via DS Download Play, and two players can use a local wireless connection to team up and take on the main quest.
