Abstract

NBA LIVE '99 gives you control of every aspect of the game, right down to which fouls get called and how often they're called. In other words, you can make the game as complicated as the real thing or make it a bare bones version and of pick-up basketball. Along with the standard Exhibition, Season, and Playoff modes, you also get a 3-point Shooting Contest that will test your long-range skills. As your team's GM, you can trade and release players as you see fit in order to construct your own dream team. You can also create players and add them to your team to fill holes on the roster.

When you're on the court, you can call plays on the fly or just let you teammates handle it, leaving you free to concentrate on getting open.
