Full descriptionStylistically distinct, with a look that seems to combine tribal art with high-tech cel shading, Okami tells the story of the sun goddess Ameterasu, who has taken the form of a powerful wolf and come to bring light to the land. She will battle against other creatures form myth and legend, using claw and fang as well as her magical powers.
Although it was originally released for PlayStation 2, the game makes special use of the light gun-like Wii Remote in one of its most distinguishing features. To solve puzzles and reach new locations, Ameterasu can paint splashes of light and color across the screen, and the Wii controller's pointer features offer players an immediate, accurate virtual paintbrush.
