Full descriptionThe national pastime returns to the virtual ballparks of Acclaim's All-Star Baseball 2003. As in previous years' editions in the series, all 30 Major League Baseball teams and over 900 real-life pro players are featured. Motion-captured animations bring the players to life and developers used "Cyberscan" technology to create detailed, recognizable faces. A total of ten modes of play include standard "Exhibition," "Season," and "Career," as well as specialties like "Batting Practice" and a "Home Run Derby." The new "Expansion" mode allows dedicated gamers to create custom teams, choosing a city, stadium, and logo and then adding the squad to the Major League schedule. The Cooperstown Hall of Fame team lets fans play with all-time greats like Mike Schmidt, Reggie Jackson, and Yogi Berra. Games are called by Bob Brenly, Thom Brennaman, and Steve Lyons.
