Abstract

Viewed from an overhead perspective, Armada 2 features classic shooting elements and continues the storyline from the original game. The Armada are back for another attempt to conquer the galaxy, as are the same six playable races found in the first Armada game that appeared on the Dreamcast. Players choose to play as one of the races and then wage war against the alien invaders.

Driven from the Earth by a hostile force known only as the Armada, the planet's six remaining tribes search for a new home as they're pursued relentlessly through the galaxy in this sequel to the Dreamcast shooting epic, Armada 2: Star Command.

Originally in development for PS2, GameCube, and Xbox, the game was shelved on GameCube and PlayStation 2 due to the developer's bigger focus on online play.
