Full descriptionThis point-and-click adventure game for Nintendo DS puts players in the role of an up-and-coming trial lawyer, and challenges them to win a series of five murder cases in a court of law. Phoenix Wright is a defense attorney, and he protects his falsely accused clients by pinning the crimes on the real criminals. Each case begins with a short vignette that shows scenes of the crime itself, so players usually see that their client is innocent from the start, but even when they know who the true killer is, the challenge is proving it. The story moves forward through still shots and text, but player will need to use the stylus to investigate touch-screen crime scenes and obtain crucial evidence. During testimony, players can cross-examine witnesses by selecting questionable remarks from a transcript of their statements, or even by interrupting testimony with an indignant shout of "Hold it!" into the DS microphone. Each case may seem hopeless at the start, but with diligent investigation and some creative questioning, Phoenix Wright can ace them all. Special featuresPlayers can use the microphone or the stylus during much of the game Play from the first person perspective through five intriguing cases Two distinct gameplay segments: Investigation phase – survey crime scenes, interview witnesses and gather evidence to use in court; Court phase – present findings from the investigation, listen to testimonies, examine witnesses, and determine the truth to prove your client's innocence!
