Two separate adventures, Towards the Root of Evil and The Evil God Awaits, test your might in Shining Force CD. Two generations of heroes will battle the forces of evil trying to take over the Kingdom of Cypress.

In order to ensure that good prevails, you will have to fight through over 50 battles, each involving careful placement and advancement of warriors against the enemy. A warrior's abilities are determined by his or her class (of which there are 20). For instance, some excel at magic, while others prefer direct combat or archery. As the game progresses, your warriors will become stronger, each capable of casting more complicated spells and/or wielding more powerful weapons.

The fantasy Kingdom of Cypress needs your help. You must lead the Shining Force.
