AbstractEnter the world of survival horror with RESIDENT EVIL Code: Veronica. It's up to you to help Claire Redfield escape from the penal colony that the Umbrella Corporation has put her in. The problem is, the prison is on an island, and there's something strange happening on it: zombies are running rampant. You'll have to solve puzzles, move crates, and shoot a lot of zombies as you try to make your escape. Great graphics, realistic cutscenes, and plenty of zombies result in the best game in the RESIDENT EVIL series yet.

Full descriptionSide chapter in the popular Resident Evil/BioHazard third-person survival horror series. After narrowly surviving the horrific onslaught in Raccoon City, RE2's Claire Redfield now seeks clues in search of her missing brother, Chris. To her horror, she discovers Umbrella Corporation's insidious activities are not isolated to the remote, mid-western city. No. Something much larger is going on here. Flesh-eating zombies and horrific beasts haunt Claire's every move. Just how far does this twisted conspiracy extend? What is Umbrella Corporation really up to? And who is behind this bio-tech terror? The game introduced moving camera angles to the series. Later ported to PS2 and GameCube.
Although games like Alone in the Dark explored adventure gaming in a horror setting, the Resident Evil series was the first to earn a massive audience. Resident Evil named the genre "survival horror," and dozens of imposters tried to cash in on RE's success.
