Full description

Designed to accentuate the abilities of the PSP, ATV Off Road Fury Pro features a variety of single- and multiplayer options for races, vehicles, riders, and gear. By using the Ad-hoc capability, up to four players may go head-to-head in such modes as "Endurocross," "Rallycross," "Circuit," "Snowcross," "Rally," "Practice," "Lap Attack," "Single Race," "Championships," and "Freeride." Virtual racers can develop their own courses with the "Track Editor," and then post them in the data exchange, or download a friend's homemade track and take it for a test drive. The "Garage" holds save data, including unlocked vehicles, component parts, and riding garb.

In terms of rider and vehicle customization, parts and gear come with adjustable color designs and logos, and the vehicle tuning system allows gamers to change tire type, exhaust, gear ratios, and more on over 30 versions of ATVs, trophy trucks, MX bikes, and buggies. Riders may set their tires down in six different environments, including snow, dirt, mud, ice, water, and grass, and show off 30 different freestyle tricks such as combos and linkers. "Rings of Fire" is one of six mini-games are offered with ATV Off Road Fury Pro, and requires players to complete a race by driving through a series of flaming rings. Other mini-games include "Card Battle," "Pool," "Bomb Dodge," "Treasure Hunt," and "Graveyard Madness."

Players can access PSP-specific tracks and other data from their PlayStation 2, by using cross-connection compatibility between the two systems to swap information between ATV Offroad Fury 4 and ATV Off Road Fury Pro. Background music is provided by such bands as Coheed and Cambria and Bootsy Collins.
