Full descriptionAll-Star Baseball 2005 adds to the series' substantial feature set with two new perspectives designed to offer a more comprehensive ballpark experience. The game's new "FielderCam" and "BroadcastCam" are designed to provide a more complete picture of the stadium action. Meanwhile, Steve Lyons and Thom Brennaman offer commentary for English-speaking fans and Diamondbacks announcer Oscar Soria calls the plays en EspaƱol. All-Star Baseball's Franchise mode offers consecutive seasons including Spring Training and league expansions. Games are played in over 80 different virtual stadiums, including current, classic, and fantasy parks. Schedules can be randomly generated. The series' "Create-a-Player" and "Create-a-Team" features return, offering new options. MLB teams and rosters are based on the 2003 statistics and the game's "This Week in Baseball" feature allows fans to replay clutch moments from that season; media extras can be unlocked through successful efforts here. For broadband-connected console gamers, All-Star Baseball 2005 offers downloadable rosters and supports head-to-head online play through the Xbox Live service.
