kaizokuonii November 02, 2009 This is a great game, and frankly, there was very little I didn't like about it. For one of the earlier PS2 titles, it handles well, looks great, and sounds fantastic. I'd actually even rate this game 2nd on my FF list right behind 6 because it really felt to me like everything was done just right (except some anger-inducing chocobo races). While some didn't like the mushy side of the story, I thought it was well told and took a backseat to the main story for the most part (something FF 8 SHOULD have done, but didn't). You're doing yourself a disservice by not playing this game if you love RPG's!

kamden121 September 14, 2009 Great upgrade on graphics, Nice Game play, yet another blond haired kid with a giant sword but a goo game none the less. Story line kinda reminds me of a more futuristic version of final fantasy 7 i'll explain how. Blond haired kid with a big sword, Mysterious man in red fancy getup,The Cid references,Strange little theif girl that ends up joining you. Anyway it's a good game nice play style.

GarageBandNinja July 06, 2009 Little bit of a fanboy moment here but this is my favorite game of all time. Graphics were awesome for its time, the music was amazing and the characters were pretty well rounded. Gameplay was great for those getting tired of the usual boring battle system got a fresh take with being able to swap party members. The story was original and well done, and I personally was entranced from beginning to end. To me this is the perfect Final Fantasy.

gamer5000 June 01, 2009 this is the perfect RPG my standards and my favorite RPG of all time. the leveling system is a first in the series, and it is also the best in the history of the series. i allows a possibility for your characters to obtain every ability in the game. for example the main character may also be able to use techniques that are not originally his if you train him long enough. the graphics are superb and the soundtrack is the best out of any other game out there (no exaggerations).
