Full description

Hudson Soft's mascot with the power outlet face returns for more explosive adventures in Bomberman Land for the Wii. The second trip to Bomberman's eponymous island, Bomberman Land finds Cheerful White traveling through five different zones of the island on a quest to overthrow the mean-spirited current champion and restore peace to the world.

Players venture through a Story Mode featuring 50 different mini-game attractions designed for use with the Wii Remote. Along the way players must collect coins, win ranking battles, and grab special pieces that help open up all five areas of Bomberman Land. Players can also return to the Bomber Center to practice any of the unlocked mini-games in order to earn token points an unlock new outfits.

Once gamers have unlocked a mini-game in Story Mode it becomes available for play in Attraction Mode. There are 40 single-player mini-games and five mini-games each for two-player and four-player modes. Multiple players can also participate in classic Bomberman Battle Mode where four competitors try their best to explode one another. There are six different variants of Battle Mode, and each of the 24 stages is full of power-ups and pitfalls designed to make the multiplayer action as frenzied as possible. There is also a "Wii" mode where players can point and shoot bombs at enemies without the fear of explosive reprisals.
