Elkazar November 09, 2009 Years ago I read about the Fallout games while searching for the squeal to Jagged Alliance 2, and it said that "if you like the Jagged Alliance series, to check out Fallout." 1 and 2 was out, so I got them, and LOVED them. Was a little scared when I heard they were making another in the FP mode. BOY was I wrong; this is the best one yet. Then there's the DL content, some of them are way too short, but I'm still playing the game and wearing the armor from the OA mission, so some of the stuff is nice. If you're looking for a FPS, then this is NOT for you. This is not CoD, or any of the 100's of Castle Wolfenstein clones out there (yes, it was the very first FPS, though Doom gets all the credit)...playing this as a FPS will waste 60% of your ammo. V.A.T.S. is the way to go for battles. They kept the Pip boy icon, which I will always associate with the Fallout Series. This game is on my all time favorites list, and it’s a long one, trust me.

	evilbear October 13, 2009 Initially I was thrown off by being First person view, but after I got used to it, loved every second. Highly recommend it to all.

kalar14 June 26, 2009 Fallout 3 is most enjoyable "open world" experience I've had since Morrowind. Exploring the Wasteland is exciting as you never know what might be around the corner or over the next hill. The main quest leaves something to be desired as the ending felt rushed (I didn't know it was the ending until the credits ran). The game also becomes a bit easy once you hit the higher levels. My most enjoyable moments where exploring the world at a lower level as the Wasteland feels truly dangerous.

	gamer5000 May 27, 2009 Its the first FPS-RPG i have ever played, it has a really nice mature theme and storyline, the game is jam packed and the quests and stories are and there are tons of mods for this game. and the EDEN tool also allows you to make your own levels.

	tawnos76 February 26, 2009 Great game. My first entry into the Fallout world and I was not disappointed. I like the open world and being able to choose to help or not on the quests. very non-linear and the choices being in your own hand makes this game very playable. The fighting being in game and not switching around to a separate screen like most RPG's is also excellent.

	beta339 February 06, 2009 All i have to say is the team at Bethesda has done it again first with elder scrolls and now fallout 3 they never seem to amaze me not only do they fix what they did wrong they also find new ways to draw you in. playing this game on decent settings and a nice sound setup leaves me drawn in for hours at a time. definitely one of my top 10 of 2008..maybe even ...09
