We are proud to announce that on February 1, 2009 Goozex has launched its services in UK and in the rest of Europe!

Our fellow European gamers can now trade games and get the same great values as gamers across North America do since 2006. This is the UK site for Goozex:

http://www.goozex.co.uk

Goozex is also available in all major countries throughout Europe: the www.goozex.eu service is available in 28 European countries. The service is provided in English only at the moment, but we have plans for localization in other languages in the next few months.

This is a major step for Goozex: we are bringing the #1 video game trading platform to Europe, and hopefully affirm Goozex as THE video game trading platform across the ocean!

Goozex has released today a new extension to the recently introduced Friends feature: the Friend Activity Feeds.

This new feature allows you to keep up to date with what your friends are doing on Goozex. The system generates an automatic message whenever you or your friends complete an action on the site, and then shares the message with all your friends.

Activities that can be shared include games sent and received, ratings, playing now, and the newly introduced "status update". You can change the way feeds work by editing your preferences:

- Share preferences: tells the system what type of activities you want to share and with whom (nobody, friends only, everybody). These are your own activities that the system shares with other members.

- View preferences: tells the system what activities you want to see on your home page and when you list all feeds from a specific user. You can select all, just a few, or none at all. You can disable the home page feed box by disabling all home page feeds.

The newly introduced "status update message" in an extension to your personal profile. You can now add a quick one-sentence message to let other members know what you are doing right now. You may be working, just doing breakfast, maybe playing some games, or going out to dance. Let your friends know what you are doing!

The status message can be edited as frequently as you wish, and is posted on your profile page. Changes to the message are also sent to your friends as an activity feed (only once every 5 minutes).

Finally, the Friends tab now shows not only the "status message" for all your friends, but also their last activity on the site. You can have here a quick glance at what all your friends are doing, and then click on "show all" and list any of your friends' list of feeds.

We hope these new features will help you stay more in touch with your friends on Goozex, and create an even greater sense of community between all Goozexers!

Goozex is releasing starting today and for the following few days, a few updates to the Requests and Offers lists:
- Turns To Go: is replaced by Position, which tells how many other users are ahead of you in the queue, for a given game. The Position only accounts for Active requests or offers, and is calculated only in the trading region of the user.
- Offers that timeout during a 26-hour match period are now put On Hold. The seller can re-activate the offer at any time and relist it for trading (the queue position is preserved).
- Stats: for each game that you have in your Requests or Offers lists, there is a "stats" link that opens up a popup window. It shows extended statistics on the request/offer, without the need to go to the game's page for trading info.
- Confirm send: now sellers can confirm the actual shipment of a package and add any delivery confirmation or tracking number that may be available.

(released: July 3, 2008)

The Goozex Requests and Offers lists have been improved with the following features:
  • Watch list: this allows you to keep trackof games that you may be interested in the future, for example future releases. Games in this list are not requested for trading, and are not inserted in the queue.
  • Stash list: post here all the games that you have at home, even if you do not intend to trade them. Show off your collection of rare games, or that you are a fan of World of Warcraft!
  • On Hold limits: The On Hold queue is now limited in length. A maximum of 100 games can be added at any time.
  • User profile: The Stash list will soon be posted on your personal profile
  • Sorting options:The Requests and Offers lists can now be sorted on several criterias!
Enjoy the new changes!
