The Goozex Team would like to welcome everyone to the July edition of the Goozex Newsletter.
This month's topics include:
The new Goozex 2.0 is live! With sleek restyling and easier to find tools and features!
- The new platform bar now stays active until you choose otherwise. All game searches are automatically filtered based on the active platform, including the games within the home page!
- Improved search: searching for games is now easier. The "basic" search has been improved with a drop-down menu of categories to search within. The "advanced search" is more visible. The other searches "Special", "Genres", and "Other" work in similar ways as before, we have re-ordered them to match users' interests.
- Forum: we have done a general upgrade to the forum that includes some new cool features (and some more to come!)
- Login: the new login page now offers the possibility to login for mobile devices that do not support javascript (still in Beta)
- Friends: connect with your friends and keep updated on what they are playing!

During the last few weeks Goozex released a “My Friends” addition to your profile page. This is a page where you can start connecting with friends you've made on Goozex. This page is also the hub for bigger and better things that help you interact with your friends and other Goozex members on a more personal level.
The “Friend Activity Feeds” help you stay updated with what your friends are doing on Goozex. Goozex will automatically update your friends’ feeds and show them on your home page whenever any of your friends performs an activity on Goozex (you can enable/disable this feature at will by editing the “friend activity feeds preferences” in your Account page). You can also list all recent activities of any member, as long as they have given you the consent to do so. This is a new great way to stay updated with your friends on Goozex!
Finally, the new “Status update” on your profile is a quick, one-sentence line of text that you can update as seldom as you wish to let your friends know what you are doing right now. For example, let them know that you are trying to crash the last level of Call of Duty 4, that you are preparing a pizza with your grandma’s recipe, or that you are going to watch the latest “Wanted” movie. Whatever you are doing, let your friends know about it!
You may now choose to automatically select your preferred when you login on Goozex. Just edit your preferences [ http://www.goozex.com/trading/asp/myaccount_preferences.asp ] on the Account page, and enable the “auto select platform at login” option.
For example, if you usually search for “Xbox 360” games only, you can now save that as your preference and have the system automatically select it for you at the next visit!
