New Game Management Lists!

Have you noticed the new updates? Goozex has launched a few upgrades to the trading engine and the list management system.

Position and stats: the new Requests and Offers lists now show extended statistics of each game you are requesting or offering. The new "position" tells you how many people are active before you. And the new "stats" link, opens up details on your request or offer.

Watch List: this will be a list of games that you want to "watch" without necessarily inserting them in the request list. It’s great for games that you are not ready to request yet, or future releases. In some cases, this will be a replacement for the on hold queue, where some users "park" games for unlimited time.

My Stash: this is the list of games that they’ll have to pry from your cold dead hands before trading.  In other words, this list contains all games that you own and that you do NOT intend to trade. Like, that precious FF VII or Suikoden. This will add to your profile and contribute to define your gamer personality. Whenever you are ready to trade a game away, just "activate" the offer and the game will move to the Library list.  Don’t forget to give your review for that classic treasure of yours.

Timeout Offers: we are re-working what happens when a match times out without the seller accepting the trade. We don't want to penalize the seller unnecessarily, nor do we want to affect the buyer. Now, when a seller times out, his offer is put on hold. The seller can manually re-activate the game from trading later on, and keep the same position in the queue.

Confirm Shipping: after dropping of the game in the mail you can now send a quick note to the buyer confirming you have shipped the game.  You can include any details you’d like and the delivery confirmation number used.  It’s a great way to stay in touch with the buyer and make sure the trade goes smoothly.

Member-built application highlight – GoozexIndy
We would like to take a moment and highlight a recent application developed by Goozex member JohnG coined GoozexIndy!

GoozexIndy draws out a map of where all of the games you have sent or received. Just put in your login and Token Code and it will give you a list of your games. Select one, and it will draw lines on the map showing where it has came from and gone. So, if you got a game and traded it, and it was traded to someone else, and then traded to someone else, you will have a bunch of lines zigzagging the map.

Goozex Olympics!

The Goozex Olympics have come to a close, and what an event!

A complete month of epic gaming events and competitions brought out the best amongst the following three teams. Team Puny Humans got off to an extremely fast start within the first week of the Olympics with Team Game over lagging well behind midway through the month. But nobody claims victory in the first quarter.

Over time, Game Over seemed to pull together and launch an incredible offensive effort to surpass not only Ban Hammer but Puny Humans as well! It was an exhilarating list of events and we would like to congratulate everyone whom participated.

A special thanks to TaintedZodiac for setting this up and managing this extravaganza!
