I'm really hoping my seller didn't turn to the dark side or worse.

I had recently left a negative (which should post today) for Crash CTR on the Playstation. At the time the user had over 60 positives with neither a neutral nor a negative. Naturally I do hate it when I would be the first negative to somebody.

Seems I was beat out at this user has received 18 negative in just 5 days. They have received two games but have let the system take over for that.

I really don't think you will be receiving your game if there are already 18 negatives in 5 days. Sounds like someone went to a lot of trouble to max out their trading entitlements and then pulled off a heist.

You've done what you are supposed to do.

It's unfortunate for honest members that unscrupulous people see Goozex and it's traders as an easy mark because of the perceived lack of punishment or any public instance of prosecution for theft.

I have spent most of my money on women and beer. The rest I just wasted....

Just took a look at the account in question.

I'm flagging the hell out of this one - I want to be sure this user doesn't get any more cookies and hopefully pays for their ill-gotten cookies.

The member had more trades than a normal scammer would commit to. Thats strange.

I noticed (and noted in my flag in the mod lair) that also.  Normally it may look like a steady string of high price point games....and this doesn't match the normal MO.

Possible the trader had one ginormous post office SNAFU or an account hijack or they were just being very clever if the activity was planned out and fraudulent.

Any way you look at it, 20 negatives over 10 days is impressive for all the wrong reasons.

Wow. When I checked the OP's trade history the feedback for this trade wasn't showing up but now it has posted and looking at the history of the games the seller is getting neg for it doesn't make sense. As Mech said the point values on many trades are low which is not the usual MO for a scammer.

It does look more like something else happened. A number of the negs mention no contact with seller, maybe a case of illness or worse :(

I feel bad for the guys who left positive feedback during those ten days or so. Obviously since the system closed the transaction they probably did not receive their games, and just didn't have time, to file the dispute.

I might be worried about him but between all the system closes there is a negative, so that pretty much tells me he's a scamer that bidded his time.

Looks like something happened to the user sometime after August 19th. That was the last game they gave feedback for in their received games. A couple system closes after than then nothing.

I really doubt this is a scam... it looks like the user just vanished entirely. Their history supports the games they sent out (not all monster point games or incredibly popular ones) and they have a history of sending out a massive number of trades in a limited window.

If something happened to them around the 20th, the timing would be just about right for all these games they committed to shipping to come in as negatives now. I am a lot more concerned about the sender's health than worried that it's a scam. : /

I wonder the same thing.  Probably something bad happened to the seller.
