Is it just me or did the most recent point adjustment really drop point values hard? Almost everything in my lists did a -50. 

I'm not too concerned I guess, but the majority of the items didn't seem to need a price drop, and I'm not used to seeing nearly so many titles get adjusted all at once, so I'm wondering if the algorithm maybe choked a bit this time.

Might just be a fluke with the games you've requested.  The price change email I just got dropped 18 games by 50, but raised 14 games by 50, so definitely more drops than raises but not by that much.

Not just you. Looks like just about everything on my request list had an adjustment. Not everything went down on my list either. But about 90% of it did. Big adjustment across the board though. At least more then I've seen before.

Yeah most of the ones in my email went down 50 points.  A few went up.  DJ Hero went down 200 points which i found odd!

Wow, I just received the longest point drop email I've ever received. Usually I only get emails with about 10 drops/increases, but today it was 50+!

I have been waiting for Silent Hill to drop back to 600 points, and Castlevania Symphony of the Night to drop to 400 for a few weeks now. Sucks that both games didn't drop 50 points tonight.

Oh well at least I got matched for that terrible X-Files game for the PS1. Daddy loves his crappy multi-disc games.

Yeah me too, a big list. Only a few went up.

I think it's a market value adjustment which must be done at least once a year to truly reflect the value of each item. Now if the could only fix "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles Season 1" still 1000pts.

Edit: I see the Term.SCC Season 1 dropped 50pts as well. Hopefully this will adjust to the real value in the next few weeks.

Well, looking closer at my list, a lot of it makes no sense.

Gunblade NY & LA, a brand new Wii game with plenty of requests, dropped 600 to 550.

A bunch of DVD box sets on my request list dropped from 150 to 100, which takes them from "barely tradeable" to "almost certainly untradeable." (All of Frasier or Man vs Wild, for instance.) 

The Gilmore Girls complete set went from 1200 to 1150, which is ludicrous because that's a $150+ item. I don't even really want it, but if someone sends it to me I'll happily trade my 1200 points for a guaranteed $150 profit. 

Pocahontas, a Disney DVD with no Blu-ray equivalent and plenty of demand, 150 to 100.

Actually, movies in general got completely shafted. Lots of Blu-rays dropping in value with tons of open requests.

I really think this week's update was botched. The adjustments don't track any market force I can imagine.

The 2 trades I just made changed right after they were accepted. I made out on 50 points for Dead Space and lost 50 points on Bad Company 2 LE. Which makes me want to ask, why is the limited edition so much cheaper? 300 points less for a limited edition. Am I missing something. I requested them both yesterday and the cheaper of the two were accepted.

In my email I have 30 games in total, only 3 went up in price.

It was blown out at TRU for $20 last week. But yeah, so much for the 'games only drop 50 points/week' line I guess.

Yeah, when I read about that sale I was hoping for a surge of trades for it. If I had the $20, I'd have just went out and bought it. Can't beat that price.

Most of my requests dropped as well.  Unfortunately, some of the games I was going to play next also dropped.  Oh well.
