I received my first +5. After 59 straight +10s, the streak is broken.
Let's back-track a little. My daughter (a 2 1/2 year old) got a hold of a excellent condition game. She managed to tear the cover off the instruction booklet & put a 1/2" long crack in the case, but the game itself was unscathed. No biggie, but I listed it as Disc Only to avoid any potential problems with another trader, and avoiding a +5. I get matched, send out the whole bundle thinking I'm being a nice guy by providing more than they asked for (paying more for shipping as well), only to be hit with a +5.
To further confuse me they commented:
"received it with manual and case !!! but the were both ripped or broken.nothing a little tape cant fix.A+++ seller"
But w/e...what can you do, right?
How dare you send more than the disc!
So let's get this straight, if you had shipped disc-only, you would have gotten a +10, because that is all the buyer would have expected, but because you shipped the manual and case, too, you get a +5. You shouldn't get hammered for stuff you included above and beyond what he requested.

I can think of many instances where a +5 is more than appropriate for getting more than you asked for. Pubes... Anthrax... AIDS Razorblades... Ok, joking aside that's pretty crappy of the buyer. Who knows, you could try escalating it and see if the Goozex team will have pity. I guess technically if the disc was in great shape then it truly is incorrect feedback and should be changed.

Some users do that...they request disc-only, they give you +10 positive but when you send more than the game they penalize you if the manual, case or insert is in bad condition.
I sent a game in Full Package but the problem is the back page of the manual is 1/3 ripped. I thought I would get a +5 but I received a +10.
Or some users give you a +5 for a 3 disc immaculate condition Crysis set for the PC with no comment or explanation of why it wasn't +10.
Maybe we should ditch +5? No one can figure out how to use it correctly, and when it is used correctly, it has almost zero desired effect.
Clearly in this case, +5 was incorrect.

I'm going to start taking a dump in a bubble mailer and using a bogus address as the return address if I start getting bogus +5's.
Not the most original idea, but certainly an effective one.

Judging from the comments, I think the buyer was confused and probably meant to leave a +10. Does he have a history of leaving +5's? Probably doesn't know there's a difference.

Not to take anything away from the OP, because we've all had out moments of frustration over ridiculous +5s. All you can do is vent (optionally) and move on to the next trade. A positive is a positive.
