Halo: Reach Beta Impressions

So, what do you guys think of the Reach Beta? I haven't played that much, but I have to say I'm a little disappointed. The new game types are fantastic (except for invasion), some of the weapons are grossly overpowered (i.e pistol and plasma repeater), and the new levels are iffy at best. However, like I said, the new game modes are great, especially headhunter, and the game holds some promise.

I actally really liked it and think that it in terms of multiplayer is the best halo game so far. Some of the new game modes are fun and the power ups are awesome! I love the new voting they have for the game. I just overall think it is extremely fun.

I like the voting system, too.

I don't like the people growling "SLAAAAAAAYER" and "SWAAAAAAAAAAAT" into their mics when their choices are behind in the votes.

I do not like the voting system at all, most of the time people don't even know how to use it which leads to the same crap over and over.

I also like it but they need to make it if you don't vote your vote doesn't count. Reach will be the best Halo game and I can't wait to get it on release.

I really like the jetpack. My least favorite is the invincibile punch to the ground. And Invasion i did not care for.

The jetpack is pretty fun I do kinda like the shield power up too though. The emp it releases after it goes off is helpful when someone is right beside you so you only have to melee once ^_^

Alot of times they just wait for you to get back up, and throw a grenade in your face ppl know whats up when u punch the ground

Hahaha I do that all the time, the shield is not made for lone wolf play. It's better suited for a good squad based game, and a chatty team. We always used the 1 or 2 shielders to go in first then mop up when they were in guard.

I like the jetpack for the mere fact you can hid around a corner then jetpack the other way (in a bigger area) and most ppl you can get the ninja on. If not you still get the jump on them.
