Scammer on Goozex???

Ok theres this guy on here that i sent a message to and here it goes.

I hid his name because i dont feel right posting his name.

He also never replied about the case of the game so i shipped it.

Just to let you know metal gear solid 4 includes the disc manual and case, but the case isnt the original case. Although, it has the picture and stuff of the game, i bought it form movie gallery. just a heads up.

Yes I got the game but the box is unacceptable. I would like to trade this game again once I beat it but will only be able to list it as 'disc and manual' since the box is definitely not the original one. Therefore, I would like to cancel this trade. Please cancel this trade or I will need to report Negative Feedback. Thank you.

I told you ahead of time and you never replied. the box is very acceptable, im 15 and pay every cent of my games and i had to pay for shipping, and your saying its not acceptable? If your willing to put it as negative feedback, go ahead but i will and have contacted customer support and they will do something about this. I havent even gotten my points for this game yet. so please accept it. Also, when you beat it you can list as full package because i have traded other games in the exact same form(letting people know about it) and they said it was no problem.

What should i do, he hasnt replied to my email yet.........

Well, the first thing that is relevant is what condition you listed it as?  If you listed it as full package, you listed it incorrectly and deserve less than positive.  However, unfortunately, negative does not fit situations like these (I hate mislisters...), but you are likely to receive a neutral in this case.

HOWEVER, if you listed this as Disc + Manual, and you were just including the case to be nice, then you listed it properly and the case can not be considered in the feedback, and should be a +5 or +10 (depending on the quality of the rest of the items).

So, it depends entirely on how you listed the thing what you're eligible for, but negative isn't one of them.  Also note that a 'heads up' isn't fair to the buyer unless they respond...if they don't then you must follow the listing guidelines and send accordingly.

Side note: He may also be able to give you a little sass about your age.  Goozex is supposed to be for 18+, but we know it's a rule not regularly abide by.

EDIT:  Further still, I noticed you state you send other games in this fashion.  Assuming you always list full package, you in fact are a scammer on Goozex, and should begin to list your games properly (disc + manual when lacking the retail case).

A rental case is not a retail case, so he is right that he can't trade the game back out as anything more than disc+manual, so yes, you are in the wrong for posting it as full package.  But he can not leave negative feedback for that, only neutral.  You would probably be better off working out a cancel with him and you pay to ship the game back to avoid a neutral.

I know the age me and my dad go on here, also full package means case, manuel, and disc, which is what i sent, it does not say original case on there does it?   i let the guy know ahead of time, so there is nothing wrong with that.

It MUST be the retail case.  Knockoffs and replacement ones do not count. (You can use other official PS3 cases if similar though I believe).  Movie cases don't count.

And you can't say "I let the guy know" and be done with it.  He never accepted this condition from you according to your chat log while you knowingly sent him less than advertised.  This is quite frowned upon, and hopefully will soon truly become negative feedback worthy when others abuse the listing process just to skip ahead in line.

Perhaps not, but you didn't send the MGS4 case, did you?  If you get technical, the case for a set of kitchen knives would suffice, which is obviously ridiculous.

List your games properly in the future (Disc+Manual) before you become investigated by the G-Team themselves.  I'd hope they'd take action against someone continually mislisting their products.

You can print manuals off the internet
