Delivery Confirmation says that the game has been delievered, but there's nothing in my mailbox. Anyone has experience this before? I'm hoping that the game is still at the post office, and it's a mistake on their side, and the game will come tomorrow.
What should I be do in this situation?
I've had games listed as delivered and not show up till the next day, or two days after. It just depends on how lazy the USPS people are about scanning and actually delivering. If it isn't there in a day or two you might want to call your post office.
I just talked to the lady delivering the mail. She doesn't remember delivering any mail yesterday. But she said, she delievers so many mail a day that she could be wrong. Called up the post office, and they say there's nothing they can do.
From what I see, it could be:1) Mail lost at Post Office, hopefully it gets sorted out2) Mail delivered to wrong address, hopefully that someone returns it3) Mail stolen from my mailbox.
Anyone has any advice? Am I screwed?
No. TenTon correctly answered your question and you ignored it. Give it a week. If it is still not in your mailbox by then, it probably got stolen or lost.
Sorry if I sounded like I was ignoring TenTon answer. I am planning to wait till next week. It just fustrating to see a 1000 point game lost in the mail. Was asking around to see if anyone has encounter the same situation as me, and see what they did.
The same thing happened to me last month with a 1000 point game. It was confirmed delivered in early February but it never came. The post office was no help, they just said that if the DC number says it was delivered then it is out of their hands.
My original negative feedback was overturned when the seller gave Goozex the DC number, and my 1000 points are gone. It sucks but according to people on the forums here, it just happens sometimes and there's nothing you can do about it, sorry.
