I've played both but haven't finished either one.
That being said, while I have been enjoying both of them, I like Hitman Blood Money much more. I really like how many choices you have with how to complete your missions. Let's you be creative with how you take out your targets.
Hitman takes some patience though. Not because it's bad, but because sometimes you just need to case an area for a while before you figure out how you want to complete your objective. If that doesn't sound very fun, I'd say go with Far Cry 2, which is much more of an action game.
I highly recommend you read the member ratings for both games. Actually, I can't speak for the PC versions, as I have a 360, and have only read the rating for those.

Same, but I too would recommend HBM for the same reason. I didn't really get into FC2 though, but I think I blame the shoddy MP on that. I still need to give the SP a whirl.
Never the less, HBM all the way.
EDIT: If you're REALLY lucky, the Hitman Collection is available for PC for 100 points, a game I got not too long ago that includes all three and was a killer steal.

I haven't played HBM, but I got Far Cry 2 a few months ago and was really dissapointed in it. Respawning enemies suck.

I've patiently been waiting for it for a while now. I even moved myself to DO, but I'm doubtful it'll be coming any time soon. From what I've heard Blood Money is the best out of the three. I just was having trouble deciding between BM and FC2. Looks like I'll probably be going with BM, but I'll at least wait till tonight to see if anyone else has an opinion.

hitman is one of my favorite game series. LOVE IT. but i would take almost any game over farcry 2. possibly one of the most overrated/overhyped games of all time. it felt like i was going to work and not getting paid everytime i put the game in to play.
I loved the playboy mansion type mission in HBM.
