Do any of you still have your old games from NES, Snes, original Gameboy, original Playstation etc.? And do any of you still play them? Does anyone have Metroid II: Return of Samus? I really want that game...

Try GameTZ. NES and original Game Boy games aren't traded on goozex

My mom got me this game with Kool-Aid points, it was awesome... pretty sure I lost it somewhere around 1996 though Sad

The oldest game that SuperRick has is Half Life 1 for PC.  SuperRick's wife won't let him keep anything older then that so that SuperRick's family doesn't show up on one of those TLC shows about hoarders.

I still have a Castle Wolfenstein floppy from 1981 locked away somewhere ... but no longer have a working Apple ][ to play it on ... and no, you cannot.

Also have some original GameBoy stuff like Tetris and Golf and Castlevania Adventure ...

I've got about 10ish of my old gameboy carts, some snes titles around here somewhere, and a bunch of PS1 things.

Oldest PC game I have dates around 1995 I think.

A few years back I quit trading in my old systems and games.  I have a box in the closet with several old systems and games.

  • JVC X'Eye (Genesis/Sega CD Combo)
  • 2 Playstations
  • SNES
  • Top Loading NES
  • Regular NES
  • Dreamcast
  • N64

I wish I had held on to some of the stuff I used to have, like a Turbografix 16.

I still play the Turbo Duo, Sega Nomad, Sega Saturn, and 3DO on occasion.  The rest sit in storage crates. DAAAAYYYYTTTOOONNNAAAAA.... never gets old :)

I miss my Atari 2600, Odyssey II, Aquarius Home Computer (intellivision w/ a stripped down BASIC and keyboard) etc.. most dearly, if only I had planned ahead as a kid I would have kept those things pristine

I have 4 or 5 N64s, at least two are still brand new in their boxes.
A couple of NES, one SNES, a Playstation, original Game Boy, Game Gear, and games for all of it.

I don't really load up the old systems anymore. If I want to play those games I'll ROM them or buy the re-released versions on GBA/DS.

Sega made a great hand held with the Game Gear. That thing's screen was way ahead of its time; too far ahead, actually. It's too bad that they didn't have the solid battery technology that Nintendo eventually developed.

Oh and I have a couple of sealed copies of my all-time favorite PC game, Tribes. And a few other popular PC titles from the '90s/early '00s

I have Metroid II for GB.  I still even remember saving up the money to buy it and where I bought it. I pop it into my GBA (since thats the last system compatible with GB games) probably once a year still for nostalgia's sake.   Phenomenal game, and there was no internet back then to just look up a walkthrough so you literally put in hours and hours of gametimes exploring every crevice adn trying different things figuring out the next step.

Hoarders is on A&E and is awesome - to watch - not to need to be on - although they do clean your shit for free Yes

I wish I still had my original SNES. Once emulators came around, the physical console didn't seem to matter to me anymore and I lost track of the actual system. I eventually found out that my parents trashed it while I was away at school... I certainly regret letting that get away because there is nothing like the feel of that original SNES controller and loading up Link to the Past for a quick 3 hour game. The oldest systems that I have lying around right now are all from the last console generation. The only one that gets any use ever is the PS2 as all of my other games have some sort of backwards compatibility.

I still have a bunch of my NES games to go with the orange flavored NES system (top loading).

I sold all of my SNES, N64, and Dreamcast games/systems on eBay a few years ago though.
