Idea - Daily Goozex Deal

Like most websites (Amazon) there are daily deals.  There should be a daily goozex deal on different games.  Like 100 points off a game, etc.  to get more trading occuring, or something like that.

Not if Goozex adds the bonus to what the buyer receives.

I think this would work better as making a game with many active offers the Game of the Day and not requiring a trade credit when you request it.

What is the usual point of a discount/price drop? To increase demand/sells.

The problem is...most games aren't lacking in demand...they're lacking in supply.

A 100 points bonus to encourage people to throw in games is much more useful....(although a 100 point bonus really isn't a big deal to most people....

I think this would be kind of cool, but it would definately have to be done right so it doesn't harm the seller.

A deal where no trade token is required would be cool, or 100-200 points off of a game (for the buyer).

Basically it would be like the "bonus games" there are now, but with older titles.  If it was done, it would be cool if it were done to games that were classics or otherwise deemed "good" titles somehow. 

Or, what if a couple days a week, a random 100 point game was "free" to buyers, only costing a trade token?

Considering the site's team is already overwhelmed enough, to have to do this daily would pile on more. It's a nice idea in theory, but not exactly something Goozex should be looking into right now.

Not if they did it with an older game with alot of supply and no demand. It would haelp to move some of the old ones people forgot about.

Can you give us more insight on how an item makes it into the value bin?

In general tems, these are items that have received a high rating from Goozex users (usually in the range 4 to 5 stars), and are also available right now for an instant trade. We filter out some older releases, for example old sport games.

Each list is customizable by platform, and changes over time (either as new items make it to the list, or by Goozex's intervention).

In general, the purpose is to showcase items that are available now and that have received a high rating --> good value items priced at a discount on Goozex because of the high supply.
