I've been hearing a lot about Bad Company 2. It sounds pretty awesome to me, considering it has even more advanced graphics and destructible environments than before. I am not, however, convinced that it will forever bury COD:MW2 into the ground. I have spoken to people who think it will though. I'm curious to hear what you all think.
Will BF:BC2 top COD:MW2 in terms of entertainment? I other words, which is gonna be more fun?

I think it comes down to personal preference really, but I personally like the Battlefield games more.
I have been playing BC1 for a few months now as I wait for MW2 to come, and it is a blast. I also tried out the BC2 beta, and dug it a lot.
I don't think it will bury MW2, but I think I will like BC2 more.
Its similar to the Madden / NFL 2K matchup a few years back before EA got exclusive NFL rights. I liked the 2K gameplay more, but Madden just had market saturation and a lot of EA $$$ behind it.
It's likely not going to beat MW2 in terms of sales, at least not on the console end. The hype train on the PC side is running a lot harder than on the consoles, though PS3 gamers have reason to be pumped after playing the beta. However, MW2's hype train was out of control, coming from a killer game before it. BC1 I've only heard mixed things about, so some may be a bit more hesitant to jump right into BC2 like they did MW2.
Comparing the two is a bit apples to oranges though really. All CODs are really just hyped up Quakes and UTs; fast based action, little to no down time, not much in the way of tactics and teamplay is generally optional; often forgotten in favor of personal glory. BF games are generally the opposite; teamplay is far more important, battles are a bit more meaningful and drawn out, tactics are relevant, maps larger, etc. Though BC2 is a little watered down compared to the rest of the BF franchise, it should be huge nonetheless.
I love both franchises, but the BF series has always made me feel more like I'm in a warzone instead of just a war based arena. Your squad of friends, and once in a while even just you, can make a game changing difference depending on your actions. In more frantic shooters like MW, it's mostly about getting the highest score possible by any means, team be damned. As a result, personally I know I'm going to get more play time out of BC2 than MW2, a game that has already had it's longevity questioned.

I haven't played MW2. But I felt BC2 beta has much better game mechanics than BC1.
BC1 had a fun campaign but I didn't find the multiplayer interesting. No kill cam also and the graphics were not great(720p) so you always had trouble spotting enemies.
BC2 beta was much better than BC1 multiplayer.
Also I always play a sniper so I am already getting biased towards BC2.
