Feedback Question - POST OFFICE ISSUE

Here's the issue.  The seller sent me a game as Certified Mail. (completely unnecessary, but not that big of a deal)  Instead of leaving it in the mailbox like every other game, a signature was required which causes me to have to go to the post office.  So I go to the post office and guess what?  They can't find the package!  I don't want to leave negative feedback because it's clear the seller shipped the game.  However, I don't want to be out my points and token because of the post offices inability to do their jobs.  What should I do in this situation?

Either leave negative or cancel the trade.  Im sure the package will turn up at some point and you will either have to pick it up or they will ship it back to him.  So if you leave negative and it turns up to you reverse feedback or hopefully it gets sent back to him when they eventually find the package in the event of negative or a cancel.

yes but i wouldn't cancel if i were the seller; also the seller has proof he shipped it; easily a contestable negative

I'd advise the seller of this and leave a negative.  Explain the situation in the Dispute Resolution Centre and escalate to Goozex.

I'm not sure how things work in the US, but when I get a note to go pick things up sometimes my mailperson hasn't dropped it off at the location I'm supposed to pick the mail up at yet...could that have happened?

Yeah I was definitely thinking against trying to cancel.  If I were the seller, and I had already shipped my game, there's no way I'd cancel the trade.  I will probably just have to leave negative and go that route.  I don't want the negative to stick or anything, because it's clear the game was shipped, however, I don't want to lose my points and token.  Notice was left on Saturday for me to pick it up, so I would think it should be there by now.  Thanks for your help guys!
