I new on here am was browsing some older games that are at a lower point level. Some great ones I came up with were:

Ninja Gaiden 2 X360

Battlefield Bad Company

Burnout Paradise

Fallout 3 (Standard Edition)

Left 4 Dead

Lost Odyssey

Dead Space

Dark Sector (I enjoyed this game despite bad reviews)

Any Other gems out there at great trade points?

Mass Effect and Dead Rising are great cheap pickups for the 360.

Can't go wrong with Oblivion, Bioshock and The Orange Box (PS3 or 360) either.

Pretty decent line for that game. I think they patched it though to make it not buggy

I can vouch for that.  When it first came out it was buggy to the point of being nigh unplayable.  Several patches later it plays smoothly for the most part with some very occasional choppiness.  Team Fortress 2 is the only thing gimped, since I don't think it receives support and updates like the 360 or PC versions.

Curse you Valve... Angry

If you're only looking to play Half-Life 2 + episodes and Portal, ether version is fine.  The 360 version is still the better overall if you're looking to try TF2.

PS3/360 games I picked up for 100 points and thus, were quite a steal:

MotorStorm, Dark Sector, Sonic the Hedgehog, Saints Row, Kameo.

How is Portal? I heard the load times were horrible compared to Xbox 360 or PC.

I would play through Portal again on the PS3 if the experience were as good as a PC. (Which wouldn't be THAT hard to match, considering it kept making my PC freeze and reboot...)

Pretty sure it only loads for a few seconds between stage segments and didn't have much discernible choppiness - nothing that ruins the experience.

Sounds like it would be a much better experience than you had on PC.

culdcept saga is pretty good for a cheap game and its different than any other game out there but it might not be for you. Its like half monopoly and half Yu Gi Oh but the gameplay can be very addicting if you get into it.

Half Life 2 is also highly recommended and well worth its cheap point price
