I seem to see a lot of players with a name like x-insertnamehere-x online.  By this I mean an x infront and behind their handle.  I noticed it during UC2 multiplayer.  I have seen about 6 so far, all diffrent names. 

Is there any reason for this? Clan maybe?

Easy way to get a name already taken. Some morons even use i-(name)-x

I've seen some people even use xX(name)Xx, it's really d*mn annoying in my opinion, shows no originality.

Although I'd rather see this than when people start misspelling names in order to get ones that are already taken.

xXbrainstomperXx is preferrable to brianstmper.

It's why I did it.  Used to be I never had a problem getting Kenny007, but lately someone has been battling me for it.  I was late to the PSN scene, so I'm xKenny007x.

Come to think of it, the most annoying is when people put an upper case letter followed by a lower case letter followed by an upper case letter, etc. (or vice versa). It looks so annoying it makes me want to kick those people in the face through their TV screen.

It's taking a lot of broken TVs, but I think I'll get it eventually.
