I accepted to send my game within 1 day, bought my shipping slip using goozex and sent out my game on thursday.  After I had given it to the mailman, I receieved an email saying my time to accept the trade has timed out.  The trade no longer shows up in my offers, and my game was put back on hold.

What do I do?  Will I get my points for sending out my game?

I had a similar timeout, though my situation is not as complicated as yours. I got a 'XXX is requested, mail it now' email at 12:02 pm today, but got a trade timed out message at 12:08 before I could act on the trade.

Always, always ALWAYS accept the trade before you go through the trouble of mailing a game. You might want to email the particulars of this trade to help@gooxzex.com to see if there is any recourse for you.

EDIT: Actually, this makes no sense. How could you have bought a shipping label using Goozex if you did not accept the trade?

EDIT: Actually, this makes no sense. How could you have bought a shipping label using Goozex if you did not accept the trade?

Read the first sentence. He accepted the "will ship within 1 day" option, shipped it and then it "timed out" for some reason.

Sounds like a glitch in the system to me.

I had a similar problem today; one of my games was requested at 2 PM and a timeout notice was sent at 10 PM the same day.  I'll leave my game on hold until this issue is resolved...

Something screwy is definitely afoot. I, too, received a timeout email about five hours after a trade requested email. Is this going to  mess up our "trades cancelled" stats?

Update:

I don't know what happened but on Sunday when I received feedback for the game, which was on hold at the time, from the person I sent it to and received the full amount of points.  This was definitely a strange transaction, but in the end everything worked out just fine.
