Sender (me) sends out a game to trader, trader leaves a positive feedback praising how smooth the trade went, then two days days later sends me a PM stating the disc has a crack and wont play.  Now, I know the game was fine when I sent it, I had just beaten it when I sent it out the next day, so I have the Gamerscore record to prove it, so I can only assume it happened during transit or this is a scam of some sort.

Trader said he contacted G-team about it, what is the standard protical on this type of thing??    Do i get a broken game back and out my points??  or  a negative??  or will this one fall on their side of the court??

It is the buyer's responsibility to ensure the game is in good condition and that it works before leaving feedback. The G-Team should inform the buyer of this and nothing should happen to you

Saying everything went smooth with the trade then saying there is a crack in the disc is a big jump.  I think you should be O.K. with this one.

I had a similar issue when I traded out RE5 a couple months ago.  Got positive feedback, then several days later the buyer said the disc wouldn't install to his harddrive.  I had bought the game brand new and experienced no problems with the game.  After a couple back and forth PM's never heard from the trader again.

If the buyer had said it was just a scratch, that would be one thing.  But a crack?
