If someone could clarify this for me.

I came across an article about if it was worthy to upgrade your PSP3000 to the PSP Go. Now I don't have a PSP myself but I'm kinda curious here. From what I read besides being UMD-less, a smaller screen, a touch screen and downloadable only there doesn't seem much difference. What about downloads? If its pretty much the same thing would any new downloads work on a PSP-3000 as well (new games) if one would be interested in getting it on the PSN?

Oh, I read that wrong. Well then that's something else less in the differences then.

How about making those prices on PSN more reasonable, digital copy only and still I'm paying for a game that is new but really its old and no case at all, lmao

The major drawbacks revolve around pricing. The system itself is overpriced considering you can purchase a PS3 for 50 dollars more. Most to all games available are also overpriced as previously stated and some new releases aren't even available for download.Other than that it's a sleek looking little sucker that i've been tempted to pick up just because it's there, but Sony already sucked up most of my cash with the purchase of my second PS3.

To get to the core question:

- In terms of running games, there is NO difference.  You can buy and download anything from the PSN STore, including the new 'minis', on any PSP so long as you have the latest firmware upgrade (6.1 I think).

- Currently the PSP Go suffers from limited availability of games - the cool Half-Minute Hero is *still* not out yet but the UMD is available.  Biggest game of the year - Dissidia Final Fantasy - is also NOT available yet.

This is all due to Sony not requiring companies to provide a digital version of the games. Which shows that Sony still has no clue of WTF they are doing. Not much of a shock tho
