I sent a movie (Aladdin 2 disc Platinum Edition) to the buy and he is now claiming there bootleg when they're not.  He also gave me negative feedback. We are currently disputing this but I wanted to know if nothing is resolved what will happen?  Will he get his points back plus keep the movie? What about me? Will i not get the points that I deserve, and keep the negative feedback? How will this work out if nothing is resolved?

Thanks

It'll be resolved in some way or another. hey may have to send the disc to Goozex and they will decide if it's real or not

If he's lying, he won't send the disc to Goozex and you'll get your points and the feedback reversed.

If he's not lying, and really believes he got a bootleg, he'll send the disc to Goozex and they'll decide. If it's bootleg, you'll lose the points and keep the feedback. Not sure what they do with the disc in that situation.

If it's not bootleg, you'll keep your points and the feedback is reversed.

If he's lying, he could make a copy of the disc and send that copy to Goozex saying it's what you sent him. Not sure how they'd handle a scam like that, but there's a good chance you could get screwed over on the points and feedback in that case.

disney movies are heavily bootlegged; where did you purchase the dvd from?

Pizza guys are getting worse and worse looking. I guess all the good ones went into porn.

Ding ding ding ding ding,  that is exactly what i was worried about happening when goozex started to do movies. There is no real solution that has been made public, yet. As of right now i hope the gooz crew would lookat someones feedback and make a value judgment as to the validity of their defense

i bought it at Wal Mart, first day it was released.  He's only complaining about the "artwork label" on the disc one.  i dont think he's even bothered watching the movie or checking the back of the dvd's.  Ive been a victim of buying bootlegs before and the last i remember bootlegs don't include every bonus feature listed on the authentic dvd case.

If you bought it on ebay from a user residing in China....then it's probably bootleg. :(

Yeah, I mean, from Goozex's stand point, and the legitimate users, there isn't really anything you can do to absolutely prove you sent a non-bootleg game or movie. The scammer can always just make a copy and send it to Goozex and claim that's what he received. I'm sure they'd ban a user after it became apparent that they're receiving a proportionally higher number of bootlegs than normal users.

The only option to preventing that is sending all games and movies through Goozex for testing before being sent on to the Requester. Very unlikely unless Goozex adopts Netflix's system for sending and receiving discs. And they're not really big enough for that, YET!

Sounds like a legit copy to me. Unless someone bought it, switched the disc, shrink wrapped it and returned it, I don't see how this can be bootleg. I actually have this 2-disc Platinum version of Aladdin myself and it doesn't look weird.
