Releases tomorrow! Man, I cannot wait to pick this up. Anyone else looking forward to Demon's Souls? This game pretty much snuck onto my radar like a month ago and I've been jazzed about it ever since. Looks like a great Western-style-but-actually-Japanese Action RPG with some very cool twists on character death and the multiplayer/online mechanics.
not too excited from what i've heard. i'll be on here at 1 to request
I'm looking forward to trying it. I just hope it's nothing like Oblivion.

Looks pretty crazy. I hear it's super hard. Apparently the import vesion has full english in it. Wishing that was tradeable. I might get it but it sounds uber long and hard and well I might not have the attention span. I'll definitely queue it though. It looks amazing
Gary Johnson For President 2012!

It won't be, its a JRPG like King's Field
Been excited to try it out since it's Japanese release. I'll be losing a little sleep in order to request it tonight.
The only thing I need to decide is whether to pick up my preorder of the Deluxe Edition on the way to class, or after class.
This is one of those games I wanted to buy, not just so I don't have to wait for it, but each sale is proof of a market for this sort of game, and hopefully more get published stateside.
The servers were angry with me my friends. Got 44th or something. LAME!!!!!!!
Anyways I'd take an Asian copy since it has english maybe i'll look on ebay for cheap
But you can't play with anyone if you have an imported copy! Well, you can, but I'm guessing your not fluent in japanese and chinese, so having a version where the vast majority of players speak english might be beneficial.

I'm not into online gaming that much anymore. Although dirt is pretty addictive online.
I'm wondering if this is going to be a quick trade or a slow trade. The frustrating ness to this game could make it go fast but the length could make it go slow
That's another issue, though. Say you don't like it, or even if you do, when you're finished with it, what will you do with it? With an american release, demand for the import version is next to nothing. You won't be able to trade it back out via goozex, either. You'll be able to pick it up for cheap, but hopefully you love it, or you plan on keeping it for the long haul, because it'd be difficult to get rid of.

I ebay stuff all the time...so I'd just ebay it
That's an option, but what are you going to be able to reclaim of the money you spend, when you're selling the red headed step child version of this game. Say you're able to get it for around $30, half off the new price of the american version; however, when you go to sell it, and the market is further saturated with american copies, who's going to pick the asian one with less features? You'll end up selling it for a total loss.
That's just my opinion, though. I would bet you could find it on craigslist, within a week (due to the difficulty), and get an american copy, at less than retail.
