Has anyone played this game on the PS3? I was looking at it when I noticed it in the Store, but I haven't pulled the trigger yet.
Does it play well on the PS3? Did they pretty it up at all? Change anything?
I used to love the original, but I couldn't get anyone to play it with me as I was rather good at it within my small circle. Getting stomped in any available online play would surely be wonderful!

Rampart and online play on a giant TV would be stinkin AWESOME!
That's what I thought! I may just buy it for kicks.
No upgrades to graphics at all, what you got in the arcade is what you get on the PS3. Plays ok but nothing beats the track ball of the arcade machine.
I heard elsewhere it doesn't sport 3 player mode? Is this true?
That and that it was a bit clunky. I don't mind analog controls, but no 3 player is a bummer.
I know I'm about a year late to the party here but I would strongly encourage anyone who has not bought this game to continue to not buy this game. Moving the little cursor is impossible. You have to hold the direction for about a second for the cursor to move and then at about 1.1 seconds it moves too fast to be able to control it efficiently. This pretty much makes the game unplayable IMO. If I could go back in time and I had the option to either buy this game or set fire to a $5 bill, I would elect to burn the money since it takes less time and isn't nearly as frustrating. also I would feel less ripped off.
Damn. That sucks to hear. I still loves me some Rampart...I wish they'd renew the game with a solid title.
