How does Netflix work for the 360?  Do you have to subscribe to Netflix in addition to xbox live?? Or is it a pay per movie situation?

Just be a Netflix subscriber (plans are as low as $9 a month I think).

Never knew it was that cheap! Still won't get it though. I'm one of those people who loves owning a crap-load of DVDs.

you subscribe to netflix in addition, the cheapest plan for instant watch streaming is 8.99 a month; which includes one dvd out at a time via the website

I don't watch enough movies for that. And any movie I want to watch, I buy and put in my collection. Netflix, even at $9, wouldn't be worth it (for me at least).

Don't you need a gold subscription to use Netflix?

Either way though, it is worth it.

Haha the gamers around my area are all shut-ins so I have nothing to do with them. My XBL friends and I have already done a few parties with crappy movies, very funnny.

Sucks though that you can't watch Starz Play movies.

Interestingly enough, there is a Kama Sutra DVD on Instant, and that CAN be watched in a party.

netflix I'm sure has more and better movies and episodes than my $200/month canadian cable would. Stupid can't get netflix streaming video in canada. (I tried, I really really did! I'd even have not bothered getting the dvd 1/month JUST to have the streaming video)

Probably a dumb question but in order to do the party watch, with the new update, do both people or all the people have to be Netflix subscribers? Or can my friends who don't have it watch a movie with me anyway?

You all have to be Netflix subscribers is what I have read.
