this game sounds dirty -- its no surprise to me that Eaglethorn is the only person who has ever heard of this and/or played it

I've heard of it, I've just never played it. It got a lot of press around it's release for it's innovative microphone use.

I played this when it was released way back when. Seaman was almost always an ***, so I eventually let him die.

Dreamcast was ahead of it's time in many ways. Too far ahead, and doomed to fail unfortunately.

I got it really cheap w/ mic so I picked it up mainly to increase my DreamCasst collection...

It was a cool concept of a game but really wasn't for me when I heard the stupid thing call me a dumb **** for not feeding him for 3 weeks or so straight...

So I just got this in the mail. I requested it full package, I got the game i a jewel case and what look like a VMU adapter for the microphone, but no actual microphone. At best this would have to be neutral (received disc + manual). There is a jack on the adapter that looks like it can be plugged into any microphone but I don't have and non-USB microphone headsets to test it. Seeing as how it's considered negative (unplayable) for guitar hero bundles that should include the guitar (but are received without it), I would assume this would also be the case.

Considering thew game is unplayable without the mic, should this be a neutral (received D+M) or a negative (unplayable)?

Definitely a negative. The game packaging says it comes with the mic so you didn't get full package.

The screen shots remind me of the restaurant scene in Python's 'Meaning of Life' movie.
