I'm just wondering cause there is a very weak goozex community of PS3 online gamers. I always see 5 or more MVP events for the 360 but there is always 1 or no MVP events for the PS3.

I play my PS3 almost everyday for an hour or so and right now been addicted to Fat Princess online...

ya i play burnout,call of duty 4,and orange box

but ya goozex has a better 360 community i think i was reading some where that the time they had a MVP event for PS3 only 2-3 ppl showed up.

I attempted this and had a contest... its still going on but didn't have that big of a turn out...

(Maybe if I had better prizes, but it was my first contest and didn't want to over do it)

Your contest is awesome.  I would have been all over it, but I just haven't been in the mood to play some LBP.  *shrug*

I mean an official goozex endorsed one, though.  One where I can win Batman!

I am convinced now to contact Blackcoyote 'bout this and I would be happy to host it...

Eh... I may even go to NinjaJ with this one

Now I must plan 'bout what the contest will be and what the objective is...

I play Cod4 and Killzone 2 online. Wasn't a huge fan of Little Big Planet. Just wasn't all that fun to me.

You should do that, Eagle.  I'd be willing to put up something for a prize, if they wanted.  If it were me I'd wait though, because what seems like the most fun game for a contest to me, isn't out yet.

I don't remember the name of it, but that LBP racer game that's releasing in fall.  Have a track building contest, and the g-team can decide the winner(s), then for an additional prize, have everyone race on the winning track.  The chap who takes 1st out of a round robin type deal (depending on how many people were to sign up) would win a prize too.

Depending on when, I would be in for some gaming.  CoD4/KZ2 always works for me.  Maskim's suggestion for ModNation Racers (coming out later this year) would be great for a contest as well.  Fat Princess looks like alot of fun, though I haven't picked it up....yet.

BTW eagle, nice initiative with putting together a LBP contest.  If I hadn't traded off my copy about 2 months ago (since no one I knew was into the multiplayer) I would certainly try my hand at that.

People always complain, but those same people NEVER show up.

2 people showed up to 1 of 5 PS3 Events held during the goozlympics; the other 4/5 got the same amount of participants 0

Since game nights are entirely user based anyway, I'd suggest just starting one up on your own, and getting people to sign up here in the forums.

I think that often gets overlooked and people just assume Goozex hates any platform that isn't the 360.  Having attended PS3 MVP nights I can say they do exist (or at least did) and they had extremely poor turnouts.

kevlar51, taintedzodiac, IWX, PSWii, mafafu, robandiana and myself (sorry if I missed you) have all organzied MVP events in one form or another.  It is very frustrating when nobody shows and yet they are one of the first ones to complain that there aren't events.

Anyone is free to form a game night and promote it.
