I'm always looking for great, fantastic, hot, cool, awesome, new music. So I decided why not ask you guys for some help. And of course the Best way to get results is to offer a reward.

So...... That leads us to the Find bosoxfan25 new music contest!

All you have to do is tell me what songs you love, that you think I might love and I'll check it out.

Now for the prize: I have 2 $5 amazon gift card code that I earned with swagbucks.com

So if someone posts a new song/ or band that I absolutely love they get both codes. If it is a toss up between a couple different choices I give out the 2 codes separately to my top two favorites. I might throw a third gift card code into the mix too if I earn a few more points at swagbucks.

I like everything. Most of the stuff I listin to is pretty mainsteam. But I didn't give you a genre because I looking for new and different.

You may like Streetlight Manifesto, they are a great ska band and some of their better songs are one foot on the gas, one foor in the grave; Point/Counterpoint; and We Will Fall Together.

Thanks for all the replies so far.

I know I should listen to more of all of them to really form an opinion but so far Metric and Streetlight Manifesto have stood out as being pretty good

Frank Zappa - Picking one song is tough, but try "Don't Eat The Yellow Snow" (And if you like that, you have tons of other material to check out)

Metric's newest release, Fantasies is a really good album.  It's nominated for some Canadian music awards.  I recommend their first two singles from it "Help I'm Alive" and "Gimme Sympathy" if you're just going to listen to a few.
