this game is very fun and brings back some of the classic mario style we all came to adore and play.. im having a little trouble though.. i passed world 1 then moved on to 2, then 3, but it skipped world 4.. anyone know why it did this? was there something i had to do? then i did the same thing and it skipped world 7.. i thought maybe if i beat the last castle it'll unlock the worlds, but it didnt.. can someone help? please..

It's been a while but I believe you have to find a special exit in a level or the castle to reach them, they're secret worlds.
The map on the bottom shows where it branches. You have to finish the final boss in the previous "branchoff" level as Micro Mario....sometimes rather difficult. You have to a)find a mini mushroom, b) get to the boss without getting hit, losing your life, or even getting another powerup (it's easier if you can somehow get a mini in the item box on the bottom screen), and doing a butt stomp to injure the boss 3 times. You then get the other levels.
NSMbros. absorbed my life on the train for a week or two. I liked it a lot, and played through it with pleasure. It was a little scary to have limited saves, but once you beat the 'real' final castle you can save any time through the pause menu.
Finding stupid mini-mario powerups, then keeping them for two whole levels was a tad annoying, to unlockworlds 4 and 6
I didn't like this game at all. It just felt bland and not very well thought out. The levels were just boring and the new powerups were stupid, especially the blue suicide shell.
