I think it would be nice if we could like request a full PS3, I know I have been wanting one but cant simply go out and spend at least $300 to buy one. I would glady save up the points to buy a console off here. what do you guys think?

The point cap is 1200 points. No one is gonna trade one for that. Not to mention the shipping on that thing would be very expensive. You best bet would be ebay or some such, as Gooz has stated in the past that hardware will never be traded here...

obviously the point cap would not be that there woould be a different rang depending on console and controllers included and what not.I would go for about 8000 for a PS3 with at least 1 controller. And like i said earlier I am low on cash and can't just go and spend at least $300 msot likely $400 for a new ps3

I did search and I still can't find a clear reason why this can't happen, and one properly capitalized "no" would have done the trick.

Sell your games on eBay or Amazon and use that money towards a new console.
This weekend you can get a ps3 at gamecrazy for $250, which includes 12 free rentals of games at hollywood. Trade some games in to build your credit, and buy one for 150 less than new. Sounds to be the closest thing to what you're wanting.

i dont think thats a bad idea. but i dont think it will happen either lol. but yeah i would like to trade games for a new console. rather then go out and spend alot of money at once.
I can see the potential for how things can go sooo wrong when trading hardware. Software works or is broken. Quality of the package is addressed. IF something goes wrong now and then it is not terribly expensive to recover as a system.
Consoles are another story entirely. How much would it suck to get an Xbox 360 that is dead. Could the Goozex system recover a loss like that if the dispute can not be handled? There would likely be different rules for console trading and we would lose the gaurantees we are afforded now.
What if we were able to use Goozex points to purchase a new console like the new games that was tested out earlier? Personally I would never do this because the point cost vs. dollar amount was too high but there are people (maybe you are one of them) who would gladly pay more for something to get it sooner or new.
