Should I get fallout 3.

I really want Fallout 3, I have 6100 goozex points. I would have already gotten it, but there is two factors. There is 50 people offering it. I'm a little anal about things like the point value of a game I recieved going down in value. Second, Game of The Year version is coming out in october with all DLC but, i'm not sure if a want to wait.

What should I do?

It's a hard decision, because i'm impatient and could get the game and trade it later for about 600 goozex points, I mean after all I do have 6100...

Either wait for the GOTY edition, or pick up a used copy on the cheap, at a pawn shop or something.  Various retailers sell it for 29.99 - 39.99 new now, so you should be able to find a used one for less than 20.

Its a little overrated but its still a fun playthrough. I would definitely advise you to get it because its really fun but if you are looking to get the version with the extra content then you might as well wait. If you are impatient then you can get it now and trade it for the newer version when it comes out- if you decide to do this option then you will at least know when you are through with it if you are willing to trade up to get the GOTY version or not when it releases in the Fall.

I would get the Oblivion GOTY version first if you havent played that one yet. I think its alot better because there is much more to do and places to go. Its also longer and may hold you over for a little while you are waiting for Fallout 3 GOTY to come out.

I don't really need the game of the year edition, but because you can get a new copy for 30 - 40 dollars should I wait till it goes down to 600 - 700 goozex points?

with out ever one telling you abput dlc i would say wait but if you want to get it go get not a have bad game just look here at fallout 3 if you get i liked the game and put 190hrs in the game but i dint know what kind of game you are but if you are going to get it here is all the help you need http://fallout.wikia.com/wiki/Fallout_3

My 7-11 still has about half a dozen new sealed copies for $25 each.   :)

Wait,otherwise,get it after it drops,everyones trying to get rid of it before the points drop a lot so they can get the GOTY edition.

I agree.

And it's obvious that you should wait for the GOTY unless you can't stand waiting for a few more months.
