Hey.  I was recently matched up for a trade with a user for Gears of War 2.  I also was suppose to send GTA IV to a user on CAG.  I sent both games out, but saw in my e-mail I got a negative for Gears.  I checked and apparently I sent him GTA IV.  I told him I'd get the CAG user to send Gears 2 back, and I told him to send GTA IV back.  Well, he said he would do this (this was a week ago).

Well, I got my game back from the CAG user.  This goozex user won't respond and I'm thinking he's going to keep my game because now he's getting it for free.  Here's the scumbag message he sent me making me believe it.

I ask him for his paypal e-mail to reimburse shipping, I told him my address.  I asked for his address and he won't answer back.  I am giving it a 90% chance that he's trying to keep my game.

Is there anything I can do about it?  Because that's way unfair that he can keep my 350 point game for free just because I sent it to the wrong person and he figured he could keep it when it's not what was suppose to be sent to him.  Would goozex deal with him, becuase this seems to be a system abuse I think.

yes. He's sending it back to me also. But the dispute won't be long enough to solve this. After I send you Gears 2, and you recieve it and it works, just message feedback@goozex.com telling them you recieved it and it's working.

Also, the guy shipped Gears back to me today. I just have to wait till it arrives (either Friday or Saturday) and then I can ship it back out.

I would go straight to goozex on this one and email feedback@goozex and explain the whole story over again and next time be careful on which game is going where...

The guy should send you the game but did you buy DC so you would have proof you sent the game to him and pictures of the game to back your story?

Yes, I always buy DC.  I even put it and confirmed shipped.  I don't have pictures, I don't know why i would need it.  I am waiting a few more days for a reply till I say anything to goozex.

Meh... I don't think it will hurt anything if you wait a couple more days, but contact Goozex as soon as possible before it is too late for them to help

I'm curious as to what that really was.

The buyer is under no obligation to send you back the game if you sent them the wrong one.  It would be great if they did and you two were able to work this out, but if they don't I hope you pay a little more attention when you ship games out in the future.

The game DOES have to go to Goozex though, doesn't it?  It did when I was sent the incorrect game.  I forwarded it to Goozex, they said Ok, and switched my negative to a positive and reimbursed me.  I think the seller may have gotten his game back thereafter, but IDK.

The buyer should always send games directly to Goozex in a situation like this.  Let them sort things out.  I believe the seller can get their game back if they pay shipping for it.

I would imagine if they told him to, which they should have, but didn't, you'll get it turned around to a positive.

Alright, well I sent a very detailed message to feedback@goozex.com explaining it all.  I'm kind of curious as to how they'll answer.

He finally answered saying he was on vacation and sent the game.  I'm doubting it though since he apparantly sent the game, THEN answered me.  The game hasn't arrived yet, but it has only been 3 days.  But I've recieved a different game that was sent a day after his response.

Also, goozex never replied to my e-mail.  I'm getting really curious as to how this is going to turn out.

No, from what I know he hasn't sent the game to goozex.  He says he sent it to me, but I haven't recieved it and it's been long enough.  The dispute period ended today.  Goozex changed it to positive, but still never responded to my e-mail.  I have the 800 points that the game was at the time, not sure if that'll change as the game he kept was only 350 points.

I believe it's his loss as he didn't send the game to you or Goozex, but I'd like to know if that changes.
