Hey guys i will be in pasadena, ca in about 2 weeks and i was wondering any good video game shop, comic book shops, anime shops, toy shops..and any recommend places to eat around the area???
If you come down to Temple City (which is really close to Pasadena), you can visit Japan Video Games. I think many people here will recognize the name from their website. They deal heavily in import games as well as many retro games. They also sell lots of assorted anime and random Japanese goods.
As far as eating, just walk around Pasadena and you'll see quite a few high end restaurants like JJ steakhouse, Ruths Chris, Melting Pot, etc. If you are able to drive down to Little Tokyo, they have many good Japanese restaurants. Also Anime Jungle is located in Little Tokyo. They have two stores, one that sells anime figures and stuff and another sells DVDs and cosplay materials.
