For the past couple trades I have had users not send the games till almost 3-5 days after they said they would send them. Both of the users also put they will send within 3 days.

I was just wondering what if anything can be done about users not sending the games when they say they will. I have never had any problems getting my games sent within the time I say and it is usually only 1 day. If I had a problem I have pmed the user and told them.

So this might just be an impatient rant but just looking for advise on what should be done about this? Thanks in advance.

As long as the game arrives with in 21 days, there is not much you can do sorry.

I've also had this problem but there really isn't anything to do about it.  I don't know why people would click the confirm shipped button when the game is still sitting in the house.  You can leave a comment but it's not like it will do anything in the long run.

It's only happened to me once, but if a user doesn't send it out within the specified time (plus some leeway) and doesn't respond to PMs, I would consider leaving a +5 feedback.  I had a user commit to sending it out within 3 days, and didn't send it out for 2 weeks with no response to multiple PMs.  I consider prompt shipping to be part of the overall package, and that would be my justification for only leaving a +5.

Officially, that's not what the feedback is for.  However, I agree 100% and feel it's quite justified and would do the same.

Yeah, +5 feedback is supposed to be about the 'package condition', but if you leave a detailed feedback message and also a +5 positive I think it is acceptable.

Most important is to be sure to leave the detailed feedback - if everyone who got slow shipment left feedback we would start to see a trend.  I just had one, and it was sadly infected with GameStop stickers and by the time I left that feedback I forgot the slow shipping ... arrgh ...

Txa......I never thought I would see you promote feedback abuse. I am quite saddened this day.

i would not recommend it - and should have been more clear about that.  However, it has been made clear previously by powers much higher than me that the use of the +5 as a tool to express dissatisfaction with the overall quality of the *trade* as opposed to just the *package* didn't constitute abuse.

Personally I am solidly behind the 'if it gets here within 21 days and the package is acceptable and the game works they get full +10'.

My personal issue is more with the dishonest way some folks are handling the confirmation - as I mentioned in another thread, I don't know why some folks do something other than 'confirm when you actually send it'.

I agree that if you lean on this +5, you MUST provide a reason in the comment.  Otherwise, those that browse the feedback wont know what your issue was, be it subpar condition, or a subpar trader.  While it's still not the BEST way to handle dishonest traders, until Goozex gives us another way to show dissatisfaction with those that drag their feet or outright lie about shipping dates, it's the best option in my mind.  I have a few 100 pointers I'm waiting on that I'm pretty sure haven't gone out the door yet myself, and it's somewhat irritating, knowing that I send things out ASAP (my record is 25 minutes after being matched...lol).

Soooo is there really a purpose for the 1-3 day shipping rule? Seems more and more people are breaking it. I like to play by the rules and I will go out of my way to ship something out if my last shipout day was that day. If there was no way to ship it out at all that day, I would PM the buyer and tell them it is priority numero uno on my things to do the next day.

It's bad enough that the waits on here are long. Now people are nreaking the shipout dates.

I am a victim as well. I got confirmation from two sellers for two different games on the 19th of April. They both said they would ship them out in 3 days. I just got the confirmation e-mail TODAY that they have put it in the mail. Okay.....they were suppose to mail it out NLT the 22 Apr and I am just now getting the confirmation today and it is 28 Apr???

Hmmm 6 days over the required shipping policy? So I have to wait an extra 6 days, plus an additional 2-3 via mail. Yeah +5 positive feedback is on the way for these two. I know the point of Goozex is to avoid trade-ins and get ripped off on the returns but if I got to wait almost 2-3 weeks for a game to come to me, that is kinda ridiculous. The 1-3 day shipping option is there for a reason and I think should be followed.

Just like determining the condition of a game and what you can supply as far as the package goes, the shipping policy should be followed as well.

Just my two cents.

In a similar thread about this I asked the same question, and it really appears there isn't.  The more I think about it, the more I'd like to see that option just disappear.  What's the point really?  If a user does not confirm shipping, it will just default to 'Shipped Today' once the time period has ended, regardless of whether or not the game has gone anywhere.  Confirming shipping is the way to go on this, but with or without the 1/3 day buttons, there's no incentive to ship fast, and it's a shame.  More people should have pride in their service is all.

Unfortunately, unless DC became mandated or some such, it would be hard to officially track when a game were shipped, and how to judge whether or not a user was slow in sending it out.

I've said it before, but the 21 day rule is for the exceptions, not the rule to live by when considering when/how to ship.

Look, people have things come up they can't control and can't always get it out on time. I was just a few days late on sending a game out due to working different shifts and yesterday had to get my windshield replaced.  Thigns happen, which is why you have 21 days to get your game.  Learn some patience and you'll be much happier.
