Why are they so expensive? Case in point - Unreal Tournament 3 for the 360 weighs 5.1oz., including padded envelope. USPS price, including delivery confirmation, is $2.77. Goozex wants to charge me $3.20. Why?

Blackcoyote: Hi shiftymcneely, There are several things to factor into the price: 1. service fees like with our partner Endicia 2. game weights from a 3rd party source (we do allow you to enter in your own shipping weight if you have a scale) 3. delivery confirmation 4. mailer weights (avg. being 1oz) Hope that helps explain. We believe the shipping service is a valuable to those that want to avoid the post office line, don't have a scale for paypal use, and want delivery confirmation to back them on the trades.
Hi shiftymcneely,
There are several things to factor into the price:
1. service fees like with our partner Endicia
2. game weights from a 3rd party source (we do allow you to enter in your own shipping weight if you have a scale)
3. delivery confirmation
4. mailer weights (avg. being 1oz)
Hope that helps explain.
We believe the shipping service is a valuable to those that want to avoid the post office line, don't have a scale for paypal use, and want delivery confirmation to back them on the trades.
So, I'm paying for the convenience. Right. Well, I don't think 40 cents is a decent trade, so I'll just walk down there myself...
I would like to see the shipping lables come down in a price, while I don't mind them being slightly more then the post office for the convience. I have found my self useing them a few times lately, my schedule has been very hectic and finding time to get to the post office has been hard.
Or you can use paypal shipping, which is JUST as convenient as goozex shipping but you'll save 1.50 each time.
Plus 18 cent delivery confirmation with each order. Good stuff.
