My problem with a certain game that I'm about to put up is that I have everything (case, manual, disc), but the manual is in pretty bad shape.  It's brand new, it's just been crumpled up in a fit of rage (silly, I know).  All the pages are still there, they are just wrinkled. =)

Is there any easy way to put that into the description or something when it matches me with someone?  I know it may not bother some people at all, and might bother others.

Do I have to private message each person that it matches me with and *hope* they see it and respond?

Another option is to list it as disc only and send the crumpled manual anyways.     I spilled water on my MGS4 manual, so I listed it as disc only.      PM'ed the buyer and told them I listed as disc only because of the spill but was including the case and damaged manual with it as well.       I figured that way it was kind of like a bonus rather than a disappoinment on their end, because I could have very well just sent them the game disc.

You can tell the person requesting it, but you still have to send it to them if they respond.

If you have everything it's full package.  You can send the other user a PM after you accept the trade, but it should be up to them to cancel.  So, don't initiate a trade cancellation, let them.

If you get no response, I'd still accept and trade the game.  If the manual is a little crumpled you may get a +5.  So, be prepared for that.

I think it would depend on how crumpled the manual is.  I mean if I rip a manual in half and send both halves I'm still technically sending the complete manual....  But I could see a user being very P'd off about getting it and giving neutral as the manual is not really usable and could be considered not getting the package requested. (IE requested full package got disc + Case only etc)

I suggest PM'ing the user before and if they don't reply then just let the trade timeout and they can put their request on hold, of course that will only work if they reply to you and agree to go on hold for a day or two.  That way no one loses their place and you can get matched with the next person in line and see if they don't mind.
