My biggest flip was purchasing 20 PS1 games for $75 from someone at the building I work.

This purchase included Suikoden II & Strategy Guide, Persona 2, Wild Arms 1 & 2, Saga Frontier 1 & 2, Thousand Arms, and some other games. I owned most of these games, so I kept the copies that were in better condition than the ones I had, and sold all the others. I think in all, I netted about $450-500

I do a bunch of minor flips over and over.
I bought about 10 copies of Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe for $40 a piece... then sold them over ebay for about $55 each.

$15 x 10 = $150.

Not bad.

I don't flip, as with my luck it would bite me in the ass and I'd end up getting stuck with merchandise that won't move.

I've considered buying several games on clearance then flipping on Goozex, but I never really get around to it as its not like I need the points.

I bought 20 copies of Gears of War 2 LE when they were on sale on Amazon a month ago and then sold the codes and disc seperately on ebay.   I made $1000 on that.  I just got another 50 copies from Amazon as they had it on sale again and am in the process of selling everything on ebay.  I am a stay at home dad so it is nice to make some extra money for the family :)

Isn't the GoW Special Edition like $70? If so, I think you lost $400.

Or do you mean you made $1000 profit, and not total.

I mean profit.  They were on sale for 49.99 I think plus an additional $10 off the first time which made them $45 each.

My best one was purchasing 43 copies of Monopoly Party for PS2 from Fry's. Purchased for 20 each. I listed them one at a time on eBay. Each time one sold, I would list another. I had monopoly of the Monopoly game for a few months. Then some others moved in on my turf. Oh well, sold each one for 45 for awhile and then 30 on the last 6. :)

I haven't done much volume the last couple years with the kids but my highlight was right before they were born which paid for my entertainment system

target 10% off coupons rock + targets 90 day return policy

I bought about 60 (maybe more) GBA SP lime green Target Branded Edition - holiday 2003 - packed with Donkey Kong Country

the game was basically free and I was paying around $115 after all fees and taxes to sell it and move it. I sold them all in 1 month for on average $160-$200 due to demand and exlusive game + color combo.

I made around 4k that month on the side which funded my baby (google svs subwoofer 600w pb2) and my M&K set.

I know, I'm one of those guys who buys up stuff and people cry about why there are none left. I haven't done as much volume but I've probably sold around 20 wii for $50 profit each.

I've done a lot of flipping to Blockbuster. My first flips were my most memorable: I bought 4 copies each of Two Worlds and The Darkness at $10 a piece shipped from Gamefly. Blockbuster gave me $32 in trade-in credit for each copy. I used the credit to get two DS Lites

I didn't know it at the time, but DS Lites were evidently hard to come by and the Blockbuster near me was one of the first in the region to sell them, so no one seemed to think to look there. When I bought them, I intended to sell them quickly on craigslist for $115, so that I could make a quick sale and still profit. But I dropped that idea after checking ebay--sold one for $160 and the other for $165.

Big Smile This is how i view it too, the only time i've flipped games on here was the times i found a deal then made sure i was already matched and then bought them. I am going to try to fix up my old cell-phones and flip them on ebay for about $250 a piece becuase verizon just gave me the exact phones again for free after paying ~$330 a piece in oct. 2007. This is sort of what i want to do with them, plus flash them to cricket:

Posted this in another thread here, but I got a whole load of PC games for $5 each at a second-hand store, including dozens of copies of The Sims 2 (it was new at the time) and sold off most of them on eBay; all told I made about a $500 profit.

Probably one of my best deals ever was for Fallout 3 GOTY just yesterday. ShopKo (like a Target or KMart) had it listed at as being marked down from $59.99 to $39.99. Probably meant to do the original version like that, not the new one!

Well, that wasn't the end of my deal. I already had the original, so I probably wouldn't have bothered with the GOTY...except the security case had that one of the copies of the game was in had a 9.99 sticker on the front.

I wonder, I thought to myself, if I could actually pass that off...

Took it up the register, rang up as $59.99. So I asked, isn't that supposed to be $9.99? That's what the sticker on the front said...

And they did it!

Nice, now all you have to do is download the content to your hard drive then you can sell the GOTY copy and just use your original copy.
